*BEWARE* Warning! In case You have not ever heard about this Seller on ebay be sure to avoid Him at all costs! I repeat all costs! grepdogg is NOT to be Trusted any further than you can throw Him! A very long story condensed for you (like Campbells Soup)...
I won 3 auctions from Him in June on 2 different ebay accounts. I contacted Him about some other Army builder lots that I would like to bid on. We talk back and forth...no problems. Seemed like a nice dude etc. Then My Mother In-Law who lives 2,000 miles away from Us who has been terminally ill for quite a while with many health problems...took a turn for the very worst. We had to book 4 tickets for My Wife, Our 2 adorable Kids and Me to fly out on a very short notice. We were able to work it where We would be there for 2 weeks with My In-Laws. Fast forward about a week and a half, and I get email notices saying that UIDs had been opened up on all 3 auctions. This was done after I had arranged with grepdogg PRIOR to leaving home for the 2 weeks to make payment once we got back home, and got settled back in. He was fine with that, and that was our agreement. Well grepdogg Broke that agreement and I tried to contact Him after I immediately paid for 2 of the auctions that I had won on one account. I sent multiple ebay messages and emails requesting another invoice for the earliest auction I had won from him...on my other account. Since 30 days had elapsed by us being gone from home with little to NO internet connection at My In-Laws. I could not click "PAY NOW" because the option was gone. Fast forward to the final Chapter, I did not hear back from Him for 4 or 5 days of trying to contact him once we got home on the 26th of July. Then all of a sudden after me posting several things in the wonderful "dispute Console" on ebay, I get emails stating that I had a Paypal refund for the 2 auctions I was able to pay for. I got UID closed emails, then I get 3 emails stating that I had received strikes against my accounts!!! That was the real kicker...no wait...the REAL kicker was when grepdogg stated that I had given Him the "sick Mother In-Law excuse"!!! Then He proceeded to call me a liar among other things!!! Bottom line, how is me having a Mother In-Law who is terminally ill an excuse? Why would I make something like that up in the first place? I had no reason to at all whatsoever! Forgot this part in the Dispute Console, right before He had closed the disputes out...He had stated several times that He DID NOT want to complete the transaction with Me, because since He had opened up UIDs He "feared" getting gegative feedback!!! So the moral of this Novel...stay Far away from who?? grepdogg thats who!!

I didn't realise there was more than one bad ebayer list going around. I posted on the other one today so I'll make this quick.
timeless_collectables2005 sucks, don't deal with them. I sent my payment on July 10th, obviously I don't have my stuff yet. The biggest problem is they refuse to respond to emails. Anyway check out their feedback, I'm not alone in this. |

Also, as cold or callous as it may sound, the seller is not required to give you any special consideration because your relative got sick. Nor should anyone here penalize the guy because he filed claims against you for not paying for auctions that had ended weeks earlier. I'm sure others on this forum may disagree but I'd hate to see you give some guy a bad name when it sounds like the fault for this situation lies at your feet. |

Honestly, it sounds like you're the one at fault in this situation. Things happen and it's terrible that your relative got sick BUT you bid on the auctions. The fact that your relative got sick is irrelevant. Most seller's on EBay expect payment soon after an auction ends. Paying weeks later just doesn't cut it.

Thanks for the great insight. I have been on ebay for close to 10 years, and I have run into very few problems. Apparently You missed the part where grepdogg renegged on our AGREEMENT. Some People still feel that a Mans word means a whole lot...in fact some would say that "Word is bond".
Anyhow I hope that Your Mother In-Law, or no one in Your Family for that matter, will ever have to suffer the Physical pain she has been going through. Thank You.

may be the above is a little harsh...but situations like this do put sellers with a heart in a tough spot...i have dealt with grepdogg and had nothing but good dealings...but i have also had buyers in similar situations and it puts sellers in a tough spot...sellers want to move their product with no loose ends..if you can't pay when asked don't bid...but grepdogg, if he made the agreement he should stick by it or he should have politely told the guy not to bid on the items..i personally hate when buyers want to bid "with special circumstances" but that is what customer service is about and grepdogg sells alot on ebay

In My approaching 10 years on ebay the last 2 years or so have pretty much been as a seller. We just sell various items, and I understand what it is like to be on that side of the coin. The shady part of this ordeal was when grepdogg refunded me for the 2 auctions I paid for, and closed the UIDs quickly. He said clearly in the dispute console that He did NOT want to complete the transaction with me at that point, because he feared getting negative feedback! Anyhow I just thought I would share the experience, and it definitely left a bad taste in My mouth.
Oh btw Silent Ninja thanks for the words of wisdom, but unfortunately I am able (along with any one else who desires to) to Sell, Buy, and bid on ebay as much as I want to. Thanks!

Thats good then man. To each his own I guess...I was only trying to share my experience in this transaction with the Community here, bottom line.
It is known that a verbal commitment is binding though. In addition, it is strange that grepdogg is banned at the yojoe site for whatever the reasons are. I also have had it pointed out that a lot of the Joes that are described by Him as "complete" and "100%" have newer acc. pack items, and not original ones as advertised by Him at times. Just fyi
