Dude, it's going to get even worse with each passing day.

Hasbro's limited stock plus scalper mania plus higher gas and shipping prices will only mean slightly crooked Ebay sellers will become even more criminal in mentality. They may even reach the level of desperation should their demand suddenly drop.

Scalping is probably going to peak soon. It will be brought about by the dropping disinterest in the line brought about by disheartened fans dealing with paying higher gasoline bills and other increased prices for basic necessities. Even as I type this, I am debating whether or not I want to Army-build anymore for the sake of saving my money for the coming recession and inflation.

Luxuries like 25th GI Joes will become less important as Needs such as gas, food and housing become more expensive in the coming months.

I am not trying to scare anyone, but our National economic outlook is certainly not good right now.

Excellent points. The only thing I would add is the fact that Hasbro as 3875847548 & 1 case revisions set to be released within the next few weeks, meaning that figures that are fetching "scalper prices" will be readily available at retail again, including:

Flint
Fire Fly
Snake Eyes v2 (Hasbro even mentioned that we may see black timber again!)

That's great to hear.

The ones I feel sorry for are the kids who have an interest in GI Joe.

There are some videos on Youtube which are narrated by kids talking about how much they like the GI Joe 25th line.

Hopefully they can finally get a break in all of this as Hasbro finally starts releasing large volumes of previously unavailable figures.

That way, they can finally enjoy them the way we grown-ups do.

I just hope the scalper mania dies down. I cannot find anything anymore, and I am convinced it is due to the growth of the scalper movement.

Got Ripped off by timelesscollectibles2005. That little sh** gives us TEXANS a bad name; sent a M.O. on April 21 and no item received and I live in the same state. I mean when I do business with anyone whether trade or purchase I do it ASAP. They should screen these people out like they do sex offenders. Bad for business and this gets people paranoid to send money and not to receive any items.

That's awesome. More black timbers. Watch out, tim-ber the price of those hard to find joes is gonna drop. Take that Collectable scalpers and profiteers. Ya know if I saw a black timber I would not want one. Just because it has a certian value is not enough for me, I have to like it. Making a return on an investment is one thing but price gouging is another.

watchout for this seller/buyer: KamakuraKustoms. he purchased a cobra mortal that i had made from me on may 5th. Never responded to the invoice sent saying he would be sending payment and once the 7th day had passed has yet to respond to the dispute opened up against him. he's has some negative feedback in the last few months but it wasnt too recent. Just beware fellow tankers of this seller if he buys from you.

i think i posted in the wrong area but just wanted to let everyone here know to watch out for KamakuraKustoms. This seller/buyer recently bought a custom from me on ebay on march 5th. after the initial invoice was sent he never returned an email stating payment sent nor did he mark the auction on his end that it was sent. after several emails to this individual and not getting a response i regrettebly had no choice but to start a payment dispute. even after this this individual still has not responded. So if anyone out here is thinking of purchasing or buying form the individual be forewarned. stay frosty tankers.
