My bad experiances on Ebay are few and far between, but man when they happen does it suck. I had two really bad ones in 2007, actually they were the worst by far. One took (no lie) 7 WEEKS to get me my box of broken Joe parts. The other filed a claim against me with Paypal that almost cost me $500.

But, I'll always use Ebay, the good far outways the bad.

I got an email from Ebay today stating that an item i bought and paid for had been cancelled. I bought a few accessories from a seller on 1-28-08, now a week later I get this message. Only 1 item was cancelled not the rest. I sent the seller an email asking what the deal was, and if the items were shipped out yet. He responds with it was a fake/spoof email, and a misunderstanding with Ebay. How can it be a fake email, and a misunderstanding at the same time? I checked his Ebay store and all items have been removed. What to do now? The seller said he had sent out many items and would check to see if mine were sent out, if not he'd send them out tomorrow. Now do I wait and see if i get said items, do I cancell the entire order and try to get my money back? I'm in new territory here, never had to deal with this kind of situation before. Anybody who has had alot of dealings on Ebay please respond with your suggestions. Thanks, Bob

I got another email from the seller stating that the items have shipped and I should have them any day now. I'm giving it until Wednesday, if i don't get them by then I will file a claim with Ebay, and Paypal. Thanks guys for the advice.

Depending on the email I would give him 10 days because it usually takes 7 to 10 days if he even used priority mail.

I'd still file the claim right now. You can cancel the claim once the items arrive but you need to protect yourself now.

He won an item from me on ebay on a thursday ( Jan. 3, 2008), pays on a friday (Jan. 4, 2008) in the evening. I get payment and prepare package over the weekend. Sunday paypal closes dispute and I loose $7.00 and item.

I been fighting for this whole month and i get from paypal - " sorrry we can't help".

WTF!!!

I am done with paypal and this seller is a jerk!

For all you sellers you better make sure you use a tracking number or delivery confirmation.

on ebay.

Don't buy nothing from this jerk and don't let him bid on your items if you are selling.

He is also a scalper.

Thank god we have this list. I noticed the sellers ebay name timeless_collectibles2005 has a listing for Wave 4 figs with a BIN of $6.99. I almost bought them all, but the name rang a bell to me. I don't want to deal with anybody who has a feedback of less than 99%.
