Block eBay user: nestomezab-0
Sold a Reaction figure to him/her--shipped immediately, perfectly packaged, exactly as described. Don't hear from him for about a month. Then I get a neutral feedback review with the words, "It's ok." The buyer never contacted me regarding any issues whatsoever. Just left the feedback. I believe this user is one of those companies that purchases on behalf of buyers outside of the U.S. Most of the time, those transactions work out well, but douchebags like this one screw with people's feedback for no reason. Block for your own safety. Last edited by gingaio; 03-26-2023 at 03:23 AM.. |

Watch out for jodekuma
Bought something from me, and then asked for cancellation right after stating he didn't realize it was not the exclusive version of the figure. I told him it was very clearly stated in the description and his response: "I don't read descriptions".

WARNING: BUYER SCAMMED ME OUT OF OVER $300
Buyer lakely_4532 has scammed me out of a 1983 Sealed DUKE on Ebay with a fraudulent return. He returned the package with a cheap TOYBIZ "Alistair Smythe Spiderman" figure. Here is the auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/20435837755...Bk9SR_rAwpCdYg What I can tell you is that the FLAG STICKER is easily identifiable due to tape being stuck on it so anyone in South Texas that runs across this BEWARE as it's stolen merchandise. This is the first fraudulent return I have had on eBay in over 20 years and it does sting a bit. John UPDATE: I just received a message from eBay where I filled out an affidavit. Will know more in a few days. Last edited by kiddreams; 06-23-2023 at 08:08 PM.. |

^ Glad to hear it man, I meant to comment earlier that this constitutes return (and possibly mail) fraud, and that there's likely legal recourse. Here's to hoping eBay pursues legal action. I have no great love for eBay, but people like this deserve... bad things.

Have an ebay story - sold a shark 9000. I listed it as incomplete and listed all the parts I believed to be missing - I was apparently wrong as the connector for the propeller was missing (I was not aware it was an honest mistake). I also included several photos of everything listed. The user bought it using buy it now and asked if it could be shipped ASAP - this was July 4th as they would be out of town starting this week and wanted it prior to leaving. I shipped the shark out on Wednesday and then got an email on Friday stating that a part was missing. Bear in mind this user confirmed with me that they looked at all the images to confirm that the item was up to snuff in terms of yellowing of the hull.
The email basically states that they would like a partial refund for the missing piece and gave me a stated price on what the part goes for. I told the person that unfortunately I will not do that as everything that was part of the auction was mailed to them and they had the ability to decipher what was missing. I did say I would be more than happy to return the money and have her send it back to me. She then left me negative feedback and reported me to ebay. Needless to say I returned the favor to her. I processed the refund and she got the money back and then wrote me a scathing message stating that I was not supposed to do that until the label was printed and she couldn't print a label. I just told her to keep the shark 9000 and the money but to remove the negative feedback. She wasn't worth the hassle. Have not heard back from her since and the negative feedback still exists. Was I being unreasonable? I have perfect feedback on ebay and do not swindle or mislead buyers. I also told her that she was aware of everything included and I listed the item as incomplete and offered a complete refund for the shark 9000. I will grant the buyer the fact that I did not list the propeller piece however I was not even aware it was something that came with the shark 9000 as I cross referenced it with the items listed on yojoe.com Curious to get my fellow 'tankers perspective on this. |

This is the buyer's fault. She looked at the pictures and she knew what she was buying. This is not on you one bit. I understand you didn't want to deal with the hassle but you shouldn't have refunded her money. You can report her for buyer misconduct. You can also request to remove negative feedback
She is going to resend me the amount minus the propeller part and remove the negative feedback. Pretty amazed that she has a 100% positive ebay rating considering how she jumped down my throat, accused me of misleading her and wrote negative feedback immediately after offering her a full refund. cobraislandtoys is the name of the user - not saying she is a bad ebayer but this experience was awful. |
