I mostly buy but occasionally sell on eBay when I’m reorganizing my collection. I don’t know if it is the Amazon Prime effect but recently I have people paying and immediately messaging me asking when the item will ship. My listings clearly say 3 day handling time as I actually have a real job.
Any of you guys experiencing this? |

Yes. Drives me nuts. Im not a professional so I am not really in a rush and a lot of the time I will ship on the last day it says I can. Honestly when they ask makes me want to draw it out that much longer.

Any of you guys experiencing this? Also, and I can't figure out why, but Marvel Legends buyers are the absolute WORST. I've recently sold 120+ SNES games, 150 or so Legends, and of course have sold a fair amount of Joe product over the years, and the Legends fans take the cake as the biggest pain in the ass I've ever dealt with. Unreasonable demands, the aforementioned impatience and assumption that everyone that sells makes it a full time job, and just plain not reading the description. I managed to get my first two neutrals and a negative in nearly eight years dealing with those clowns. I sold the Legends in three waves; by the time I got to the third wave, I was dreading dealing with them. |

Thanks for your responses, guys. I have 100% positive feedback and I take pride when I sell things, even though I’m not a professional eBay guy.
Irks me when folks are so demanding. Had a dude recently bitch about my shipping costs even though he didn’t bid. Said I was ripping people off even though we are literally on the opposite ends of the country. Box weight and dimensions go into eBay gonkulator and a number comes out jack ass. |

I always hate the ones who try to give me explicit instructions on how they want the box packed and when it should be shipped, etc. The freight forwarder people are always asking this. If you see something going into Oregon and it’s not an English type name you know it’s a forwarder. Some folks are very impossible to please. My only neutral came when someone bought a loose Lego set and complained it didn’t have a box. Umm it said LOOSE in the title and NO BOX in the full description. Pay attention.

I had some buyers complain that the auction was misleading and that they didn't realize the item was inconplete because I didn't put incomplete on the title and that they didn't read the description.
However, the picture shows clearly it is incomplete and it is very clearly listed in the description. It's not my fault that you decide to skip reading the description or maybe even looking at the picture. Also, in this case it was an auction for a Star Wars figure lot and I put that it was a Star Wars figure lot in the title so that you would have to read the description to know what you are getting.

Any of you guys experiencing this? My brother had to deal with a fucker who bid on multiple auctions and then expected combined shipping without even inquiring before the auction ends or requesting it after the end. He showed me the messages from the guy who waited days and 2 invoices to drop a rant about how he's not paying the shipping and how it was "theft". My brother made a mistake on the last invoice he sent and forgot to add a discount for the combined shipping, but instead of asking if there was a mistake, this dude just went off. He told the guy it was mistake, but combined shipping is now off the table and he can either honor the contract he willingly entered into or take a non-paying buyer strike. I think he cancelled it for the prick in the end. I would've made him eat a non-paying buyer strike.

That's a huge pet peeve of mine. I ship all of my items in good boxes with bubble wrap and packing material. The collector entitlement is off the hook.
