If you screw over 1 seller/sale for every 5 sales you do complete, then eBay will probably be like, "Ok, that's acceptable," because they're still getting a cut off every sale that does happen.

I don't know what eBay's threshold is for kicking people off, but I imagine that you'd have to screw around a lot to get kicked off.

That said, I was visiting the bad ebay buyer list on TFW2005, where I also list these flakers/non-paying buyers, and a number of them have since had their accounts cancelled.

failed to pay after I accepted an offer from them. Once I messaged twice (first time, I sent an invoice after waiting a few days), he/she said they bought the same item for less in a different auction. eBay closed the auction, they did not even relist it for me.
Sometimes I just want to go back in and not allow young accounts to bid or make offers.

Three is a setting to block any bidders with 0 or negative feedback rating.

As for relisting, again, it is a setting to auto relist.

Ebay doesn't care if buyers screw over sellers. They expect the seller will just relist it again and they'll just get their cut later.

It's annoying but not much you can do.

I'll bet he's just mad because he wants to flip himself but didn't know who Storm Shadow was last year.

In this pandemic there are a lot people who want to scalp hot toys (not Hot Toys) but don't have any knowledge about what's popular until after they run up in value. I'm seeing a lot of posts on many toy sites of "fans" posting, "Hey fellow fans, what's the best figures to get?" Dude is probably put out that he missed the boat and the potential profits and what's yours at retail price. he should ask for some Apple, Amazon and tesla IPO while he's at it lol.
