I opened a complaint with eBay. But what I hate is having to waste time with these things. Prepare the package, go to the post office during the lunch break ... And then, wait for many days to get the money back on my credit card.

Practice closed! I got an almost total refund, they did not return $ 12 for the GSP that covered the import costs. This is not right! Also ebay has eliminated my negative feedback to this seller, also this unfair, because who buys must know the work of these sellers!

I had an issue like this. After an exhausting search to try and figure out the problem, it turned out that the issue had to do with the seller’s PayPal account being out of the Ukraine. eBay won’t allow you to pay anything to an account from there. Ultimately the seller and I agreed to cancel the auction, then he created a different PayPal account registered in a different country. He relisted the item as a “buy it now” at like 20 times the price I won it for originally with a “make offer” option. I made an offer at the price I won it for originally, he accepted, and we closed the deal without any additional problems. Hope that helps.

DG duke in green. To be fair he has 4000+ positive feedback, 100%. I’m sure if the transaction flowed as per normal I’d be fine. I don’t think he is ripping people off and don’t want to give that impression. He looks very legit. My issue is his handling of this rare issue that I am trying to work with him on. It’s an EBay issue and I’d like to honor my commitment to buy the figure. I want the figure. But I sell too. 1200 sales with no issues. This is not how you treat someone buying from you.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the advice. That is exactly what the EBay rep said would be a resolve to the snag. I wrote the seller asking him that per EBay, cancel the sale and relist it as a buy it now and I’d happily buy it- even at a slight mark up if he wanted to compensate for his time and effort. No reply- but that’s when the unpaid case was opened. It enraged me.

You should be made aware that eBay sends those unpaid item notices automatically. The seller can specify how many days after sale the automated process happens, but it's very likely your seller did not request the unpaid item request himself.
