There is a trend of these scumbags in China listing these types auctions. It’s a problem that’s been running rampant in the toy community for a while. If you think this is bad, you should see the Transformers auctions. I think it’s ridiculous that ebay has not figured out a way to weed these accounts out.
The second seller shipped only to a non existing address. Luckily the post office marked it as undeliverable and I just happen to catch it that day so I called and asked to pick the item up. When I got to the post office I took pics of the package as instead of it being a masterpiece sized box it was a bubble Mailer containing what felt like beads. I refused it. I then sent the pictures directly to eBay. EBay then try to tell me that because I received a "courtesy refund" for the 1st item I could not be refunded again for the second item because the seller did make an attempt to ship dispite the fact that the tracking still says undeliverable. So if I wanted a refund I needed to work it out with the seller. WTF? So after about another couple weeks of the seller not answering my messages I called Ebay again and after a 2 hr conversation with four different eBay Representatives all telling me all kinds of BS reasons that I could not get refunded such as buying from high-risk sellers (despite the fact that they both had 100% positive feedback at the time of my purchase & they only received negative feedback in the last 30 days since I've been trying to get refunded) Finally I was finally able to get my refund. Bur Only because I did my own due diligence and got pictures of the package they sent with the wrong address labeled. It's funny because for the second item I was told that since the seller was no longer a registered user it would come out of Ebay s pocket. So I basically told them that it's not my problem because I alerted eBay of the situation the second I had the issue and due to Ebay's flawed policy I was prevented from opening a case for 30+ days and by then the seller was able to disappear before they can put any type of hold on their paypal account. So nevertheless I will be sticking with domestic sellers only. And I recommend any and all eBay members to document everything and get concrete evidence in your favor when dealing with shitbag International sellers. Or Ebay will happily let them keep your money and tell you to its your fault.

Another deadbeat bidder who sniped the high bidder of my auction only to cancel order almost right away after the auction ended. I've blocked him. User id is biohazard_163
I really wish EBay would do something about this. Can't even leave negative or neutral feedback to warn others.

Beware of eBay seller lonnolnin. Purchased two items totalling about $20. In sellers defense, I failed to read that doesn't ship outside US. I requested to have items shipped to APO address, as I'm stationed in Germany. Seller sent message "No. I don't ship to outside to US. Item will be sent to address listed with paypal. Or request to cancel this order ASAP." And 8 minutes later the transaction was cancelled. I was sleeping when these messages were received. When I woke I sent a response after finding the item re-listed for a higher price "Understood. You cancelled those while I was sleeping. I'm six hours ahead of Eastern standard time. Any chance I can purchase these for previous listed prices and ship to PayPal address or am I going to pay what you raised price?"
I then try to purchase items again only to find I've been blocked. I sent"Any chance you can unblock me so I can repurchase?" Which was met with "No." Me-I apologize if I came across as crass or abrasive this morning. I just couldn't help not being able to respond to your message about shipping and was confused to wake up and see order cancelled and item re-listed for more than original price. I was just wanted clarification on whether I could purchase for what it was listed for last night. I'm stationed in Germany and failed to check your shipping restrictions, that's totally on me. I'd hate to leave the situation as is, as I've followed you for quite some time as a seller. If you would consider it, I would purchase for current pricing. Once again, I'm sorry for any misunderstanding. Respectfully, Derek Smith Lonnolnin: Sorry, no. Shop somewhere else. You have wasted a lot my time with this. We are done here, so stop. So, to recap, seller decided to relist item for more and decided I'd wasted the 5 cumulative minutes used to check/respond to messages. I tried maintaining humility and respect and dignity by biting my tongue and holding in what the Army in me wanted to let slip. Bottom line, beware of this seller, walk on eggshells and make sure you live CONUS. |

Possibly. Maybe caught him on a bad day or he's been screwed over by people OCONUS claiming they never got their stuff. At any rate, just a heads up to anyone before they buy from him - make sure you read his shipping restrictions.

Here's my bad buyer experience...and it happened today. I had a couple figures on auction and some guy on eBay bidded higher than anybody else. So it takes a week to go by and no payment and no message from him so I'll send him another payment reminder. And his response is, "I can't afford it." If you can't afford it, please don't bid on it. I understand if you can't afford it at the time and you need a couple of days till your paycheck comes, or even if shit hit the fan and life threw you a curve ball, but this wasn't even the case, he just couldn't afford the amount he bid. So it doesn't make sense to me that you keep bidding and bidding and bidding beating out everybody else's bids and taking the chance away from somebody else who could pay for it and you can't even afford it yourself. That irritates me!

Yeah it’s really beyond stupid that there’s no negative feedback for idiot bidders or con artists.

Yeah, I've been experiencing a lot of that where someone wins and then asks to cancel right after the auction ends. They don't even give a reason on their cancellation request. I can deny his request, but then what's the point.
Everyone who does not pay or cancels the order, I report them to Ebay. Don't know if Ebay even does anything, but I just report them. It's beyond annoying that you can't leave negative feedback to buyers. This is why I don't leave feedback until I get feedback from the buyer.

Just had three "no payments" closed out today on eBay, all IG's from the 2012 con set. I always give 5 days and will then email the buyer, if still nothing, open a case. Though it's b.s. that there is no form of penalty to the supposed "buyer"!
