Jeff purchased an item from my child's collection of auctions. The RoC Monkeywrench arrived TWO DAYS after payment was made.

Sixteen days later, he messages me and wants to return the item. I asked why, he said "there is nothing wrong with it. My son just changed his mind and doesn;t want it anymore..."

Wow!! So that is a valid reason for a return now...my son doesn't want it anymore?

Judging by feedback left, this is not the first time someone called him out on it!!

A while back somebody had posted issues with ebay seller name "gijoedealer2000" who also has a website of the same name I believe. I posted about my own story about him as well and we all had a good laugh about how he calls people "retard" and "you ass" in the replies to his negative feedbacks... good times.

Funny though, I was still able to bid on his items and contact him before I posted on here. Yesterday I was going through the heap of items on my watchlist and threw a bid or two out there only to be told "this seller isn't accepting bids from you" and I realised it was him!

Nothing more to report than that, just an anecdote about how he only banned me after I talked about him on here. Good to know that these shitheads read this at least, heh. 'Course even just Googling his username fills the results with this thread and similar from other sites. You'd think that'd tell a guy something...

He bought a POC carded Duke and the ROC protoype in the same lot (dirt cheap too) A few days later he asked for a full refund / return, but in the notes asked for a partial refund since I was a liar and a thief. He claimed I did not show the card accurately because I knew the card had some damage to it.

I asked him for some pictures as I wasn't trying to be deceitful. When I saw the pictures, I agreed and apologized as there was some damage to the bottom of the card. I offered a full refund because I don't do partial refunds.

He became ruthless in his next few PMs telling me how much of a thief I was and telling me I was wasting "his" time. He did not want a full refund and only wanted partial. When I called him out for wanting a discount and how that was against eBay policy, I never heard from him again. A couple of days later, I looked at his completed listings and he had sold the MOC Duke and kept the prototype. This is why he didn't want the full refund because he no longer had the item.

A few days ago, he left me negative feedback and called me a useless blackhole. Nothing but a nightmare with this guy!

After almost a month, I got eBay to take off the negative feedback. Stay away from this guy!

This guy's a typical non-paying bidder. Add to your block list. After I opened a non-paying alert (on a Japanese diecast Gatchaman toy), he tells me he's having trouble with his account. In the meantime, his feedback is going up from other sellers who are receiving payment from him.

I'm adding KOKOMO-TOYS to the list of bad sellers, which I realize isn't going to be popular here.

I was surprised to discover just now that they banned me from buying from them. It turns out I left them neutral feedback well over a year ago for not combining shipping (as advertised) and not responding to my request for it or message about it. Here's the feedback I left and their response:


Neutral feedback rating "As described, but seller didn't combine shipping as requested (and advertised)." Seller: kokomo-toys More than a year ago

That last bit is me directly quoting their words from the auction. I didn't ding them with a negative which I could have considering they completely ignored me and my requests, and for that they banned me. Not a big deal, I suppose, on it's own, but I dug a little further and found that they're petty, vindictive and ban-happy. Some of their feedback replies read like they were written by a spoiled 12 year old. Sorry, but I have to say something about that. There are plenty of other sellers who actually follow their own rules and tend to give a shit about customer service and it's not like kokomo has the best prices. Best to look elsewhere folks.

I have absolutely nothing to say against either you or the seller, but for posterity I read through all the neutral and negative feedback they've received (and replied to) over the past 12 months and I have to say that I can't really find anything at fault over any of their responses. Granted, sometimes there wasn't any response, and one always wonders what happened there, but I didn't see anything spoiled 12-yo-ish in them. Maybe I'm just as immature, dunno!

That's sorta what some of their responses were like. Actually it was more like "Comic Book Guy" stuff. Things like, "Congrats! You're banned!" and "Stupid people need to quit bidding on my auctions!"

It's weird, but I can't find the really immature feedback responses now either. I found it easily enough before...WTF? It's like I had access to feedback from over a year ago and now I don't. Well, maybe they've changed, although there are still traces of the snark:

Yeah, doesn't seem to be one of those "above and beyond" type customer service outfits. Guess they can't all be five-star.

Banned is crap though. I didn't even get a chance to leave feedback for a certain already-mentioned seller because he cancelled the auction minutes before it ended because I was about to get a POC Lowlight for $5 and he wanted more (he told me this). When I said, "That's pretty shit of you" he banned me. Saved me from snarky comments at least!
