Does Paypal allow for more than one confirmed address to ship an item to? I am in an argument with a buyer right now who is telling me that I can ship it to any of the addresses that are registered with Paypal. To my knowledge, there is only one confirmed address which is the one provided to you once the person pays. They want it sent somehwerre else and I absolutely refuse to do it.

Well I think you can have multiple addresses on there but you would have to change that address before payment so that it shows up. Definitely don't do the send to a different address. That has scam written all over it.

Yes they do but it is a pain in the ass from what I have heard. You email paypal they send you a confirmation # thru the mail to the alternate address you want. You go back onto paypal type in the said confirmation # into a link that takes you to a page that you then fax over to them with pertinent info needed to confirm the address. Got all that! Example of an alternate would be a business address, rather than a personal address. Here's the catch the address whether it be a heating bill, electric bill must have your name and the address desired to confirm.

i dont think its that hard, you just log into the account and click on the box as far as what address you want to be the confirmed.
I dont rememebr ever having to fax anything over to paypal.

It sounds like it would be better to just cut ties. It will probably result in losing money. |

If it's not an address listed in his billing summary (ie - request for payment, invoice, et al), I wouldn't send schnit. Seller/Buyer protection is there for a reason. If he doesn't understand why you'd need to protect yourself in today's day and age, then there's something wrong with the picture.
