The eBay Caution Thread!

Considering StarDuster is in the auction, I figured it has probably drawn some attention from some our community here and wanted to make sure people get the warning.

I was about to bid on this auction and did some research on the sellers history and noticed the same buyer bidding on most of their auctions. It just happened to have the same name in both id's. (martin) I researched the other persons history and the sellers id is all over their auctions as well.

Obviously they either know each other or its the same person. Too many auctions to be coincidence. They are power bidding to get more for their auctions.

Just wanted to be sure people knew. Cuz knowing is half the battle!

What's amazing is that he's so blunt about it. I can't see how it's two different people:

*Both joined only 2 months from each other

*Both buy from each other (?)

I agree. I was pretty shocked to see SO many bids on each others auctions. They didn't even try to cover it up.

I also noticed that person purchased a StarDuster recently....that had a cracked elbow....Same version.... Gee, i wonder if this one has a cracked elbow. The description is pretty vague.

Sadly, people will still bid like crazy on it.

It was up to $120 before the same martin person won it. I guess it didn't reach what they wanted.
