They must not be getting enough traffic on their site.

Maybe their "0" feedback will be the end of that. Haha.

Funny that the TRU used to be exclusively on Amazon.com. But Amazon pissed them off by allowing other toy sellers to sell on their site too. So TRU severed their relationship.

WEIRD
They have no feedback BUT have left a ton of it for their buyers. YET it's not the same type of feedback. They aren't all cut and paste responses. |

It is indeed an odd business model, since prices are the same. The only thing you get out of buying there is another notch on the feedback meter, as opposed to buying on tru.com?

I was searching Sears and it linked me to TRU and FAO Schwartz (which is owned by TRU). I found that interesting.
I've noticed that a lot of the "hot" holiday items over the last few years are sold at TRU at much higher prices than other places. Last year Zhuzhu pets were $9 there when they were $6 elsewhere, and Monster High dolls are $25 there when they're $16 elsewhere. I guess if they're just guaranteed to sell out, get as much for them as you can. It also helps get the items in the hands of parents because it just isn't worth it to resellers. |
