I agree. If he has misrepresented the offering, screwed someone, etc. then there is a right to complain. Otherwise, if you think it costs too much, don't bid on it. Pretty easy if you ask me!

Looks like he spends a lot of time of these...time is money....he's not making them in China by the millions.
There is a great difference between what you are willing to pay for an item and what an item is actual worth. You can always make one yourself and hope that it turns out as nice as his, but if you want him to do the work for you, then pay the man. You don't go to work for free why should he? I am not real comfortable with a specific tanker being called out like this either. Link to the item and complain about it...cool, call out a fellow tanker by name, kinda not cool IMO. That being said, If I had the cash to afford all of his customs and not go broke, I would buy in a heartbeat, but I don't, so I will simply dream and gape in awe at them on the webz. Also this figure is not just a toy. Customs are a work of art and you wouldn't just be paying for the time and money. The customizer could have put allot of himself (artistically speaking) in as well. I don't know if I would charge this much for one of my own 1:18th scale figures, but I put a huge amount of work into my stuff (sculpting, casting, dremeling, painting, etc.) and if I was to ever sell my customs, most people wouldn't buy them because I'd be asking quite a bit. Mostly because I feel like I'd be selling a part of myself.

it's still in it's core a home made toy, I have never been a fan of customs because anybody with the time and resources can make them, I'm not saying they are worthless but why would anyone else that didn't put the time and effort and love into them really want them? Besides you are just improving on someone else's work, and if you sell a custom for more than what you paid for the pieces to make it, that's breaking someone else's copyright, now maybe if you made the figure by scratch that's a different story, then your an artist, but switching out some arms, putting a new piece on here and there and painting an existing figure is not art it's just a hobby and if you have the time to do that and you enjoy it, more power to you! And this guy does have a right to sell it for whatever he wants and charge what ever he wants for shipping, just like you have a right to buy it or not.

Those are all pretty cool. Im sure he spent a lot of time on these. But if I was going to spend that much money I would just buy the sideshow figures..

Hard to see what's going on in such dark poor pics, like trying to sell a custom hot rod car with Polaroid pics. That said, I can see why the untrained eyes are so vocal here. Want to make this yourself ? Go ahead, if...you can pull it off the money & time you have invested would be right around his asking price. As for $10.00 shipping, give me a break, what's it going to cost him ? $6-8.00 ? and your complaining it's $2-$4 above what USPS will charge him ?....seriously ? You started a thread about this ? WHO CARES ! Can't afford it ? Just click back or show us what you can do that is as good for a cheaper price and ship it for free while your at it. Go ahead, please provide us with as good product for less, show us all how it's done.

Yeah, man...not sh*t starting here, but this thread isn't cool. It's a custom, and he can charge whatever he wants, he put the work into it. He's not doing anything wrong or hurting anyone, he doesn't deserve to be called out. If it doesn't sell, he'll come down on the price, or he'll have a kick ass 6 inch Destro custom for his personal collection.
