I don't get the whole "I bought them and put them in my closet for 26 years" thing. What kid buys toys, then puts them in a closet never to play with them? Or is this some 80 year old guy who used a time machine to go back in time with the GO JOE almanac and buy up all the figures and could not travel back to his time in the future so he ends up spending his life buying them up to sell to us today for 10 grand? lol!

Yea thats a great collection and all but it is not $10,000 great. As a matter of fact, I think he just made the auction so that he could advertise his custom 6 inch Joe's. Think about it...You put up a good collection of vintage Joes and a $10,000 price tag (that he knows no one is probably gonna be willing to pay) and just about any Joe fan is gonna click on it just to look at it out of curiousity but once they've realized it's not worth $10,000 they've already scrolled down the page to the pics of his 6 inch customs and there's just as many pics of those as there is of the auction itself.
That's just my 2 cents though. I could be wrong....cough, cough..

I have everything he has pictured except the SEARS Drednok stinger and RAM cycle and he says they're not part of the auction!! Those are probably the most valuable pieces in the auction and they're not part of it!! You can get all those figs by buying parts lots on ebay like I did! Sorry, it upsets me when people don't include everything in the photos in the auction! I still wouldn't pay 10k if the Drednoks stuff was included.
His 6" custom joes aren't worth $150+ either!! Last edited by hahoo3; 10-04-2010 at 07:15 AM.. |

I did have a few from my childhood collection too.

Also-why are there so many of the same type of pictures such as the original Joes with FC?
