Every figure in this line has some sort of factory defect and bad paint applications. I once found a Rock 'N Roll with his right pupil painted so low that it was practically on his cheek. What's a "lazy-eyed" or "cross-eyed" Rock N' Roll going for on Ebay these days huh? I just left that figure sitting on the pegs while I hunted for another one somewhere else that had better paint apps.
I don't want to knock anyones Ebay post or anything else like that. I will say this though if the seller doesn't know any better and thinks that they do indeed have some sort of a "holy grail" unique 1 in existance figure, they will be ridiculed on sites like this for either being stupid, or trying to get one over on an unexperienced buyer. I feel bad for both in this case. Then again the seller could be an evil person who tries to pull the wool over people's eyes. That's messed up in my book. On the other hand, let the buyer beware. I will not judge the seller though because I don't know them or what their intentions are. This is happening way too much on Ebay. All we can do here is to hopefully help the less experienced fans by letting them know what the real deal is. Maybe we can help both buyers and sellers that way. Please don't think that I am calling this Ebay seller a scam artist though. It's really 50-50 when it comes to something like that. I just feel that in most cases it's just a scalper trying to get a quick payoff. I don't think a true fan would sell something like that as being "rare". I also think a true fan would know better than to bid outrageously on something like that as well. In any case if sellers get "rich" off of calling figures "rare" they have the fools who buy them to thank for it. Good for them if they are making money off of other people wasting it. People need to wisen up and learn the difference between a factory error and a "variant". I don't condone that behavior, but until someone does something to stop it oh well. All I know is that we true fans wouldn't do it or fall for it. |

What we know about this rare figure...
HARD TO FIND G I JOE 25TH ANNIVERSARY LADY JANE. (Lady Jane, never heard of her but I am sure she kicks ass.) NONE OF MY OTHER G I JOE LADY JANES LOOK LIKE THIS. (Again, who is this lady jane character... no others look like her!) WAS IT REALLY A FACTORY 2ND THAT GOT SHIPPED ANYWHAY? (The seller doesn't know how to spell, so they are either very young, dumb, or a combination of both.) TOY IS SEALED ON CARD I DIDNT DO THIS I FOUND IT ON THE SELF AT WALMART. (He found it on himself at walmart, and that folks is pretty gosh darn nifty.)

Now, see, that just makes you guilty of unsubstantiated assumptions. Dyslexia and similar challenges are actually quite common, and as more-and-more communication becomes text-based we're starting to notice it. He may be uninformed and/or opportunistic, but assuming he's stupid just makes one petty. At any rate, he seems to have updated the listing since it's now got a BIN of $4, and an LJ for customs fodder for $4 ain't bad. Alas, I'm not willing to pay the $9 shipping to north of 49 (also not awful; higher than stores usually charge, but he's probably not got the economy of scale they do either. All in all I'd say he thought he had something and has discovered he was wrong, and is now just trying to recover costs.
