Wow, you two little net-cops must feel good about yourselves. Hope Ebay gives you a nice fat commission for doing their dirty work. Oh wait, they don't give you jack shit.
So who's the loser again? |

I fucking hate eBay, but it's my only source of income while unemployed. I pay fees out the a$$hole that are constantly rising because of guys like this that try to circumvent the system. If I have to play by the rules, then goddammit so does this sack of shit.

This has been brought up alot here because I know that I've commeneted on many threads on this same subject.
We all know what the seller is trying to do here. They are trying to screw Ebay out of seller fees. Now I don't know what Ebay can actually do about this because the seller has every right to charge what they wish for "shipping and handling." The problem lies with the wording of "shipping and handling." We all know what "shipping" is and have a basic idea how much it would actually cost based on the weight of the package and the distance it has to travel. When it comes to the "handling" side of things well that's a whole other issue. "Handling" can be any amount the seller feels neccessary to charge in order to make back the money spent on acquiring the item and getting it to you. This could be anything from packaging supplies, to gas money and even time spent finding the item and and taking it to the post office. This "handling" fee cannot be disputed because it's up the seller's disgression. Like I said earlier we all know what the seller is trying to do here, but I wish people would just stop complaining about it and trying to "blow the whistle" on this type of thing. Let Ebay handle it on their own. If they really wanted to fix this problem they would would get rid of the word "handling" and make the seller weigh the package on their own. Then the seller would have to put the weight in and the zipcode so that the shipping price would automatically pop up based on the shipping service to be used.

Unless its next day shipping (which this one is not) there is no way it would cost 30 to ship in the US.

Scotty, the reason Ebay charges us up the ass in fees is because they can. It's the benefit of being a monopoly created by shady business practices. Protecting them only ensures there never will be an alternative. |

What if it is delivered it in a silver box lined with rubbies? I mean I could charge for a "specialty" box and ship it to you charging a premium on the shipping supplies. Does that make me a bad peepee?

It amazes me that the same people who are calling this guy an ahole are the same people who bitch at me for calling out scalpers. What is he doing that is any difference from what scalpers are doing.
