No, I didn't buy it. That's more money than my entire collection is worth.
Actually, it's several times what my entire collection is worth. Where's a billionaire buddy when you need one?

Isn't it crazy that one figure can trump an entire collection? That is just insane. Oh well as I always say, "If you can afford it, go for it."

I am sure I can look up AFA grading but what exactly makes the packaging that much better? I mean this is a classic figure but I see wave 13 Modern Era graded figures for hundreds of dollars... How nice can the packaging be? I mean when ever I buy toys for MOC I always look for the best looking packaging in terms of no dents or scratches, I look at the figure for any obvisous flaws but honestly how much better can it get? Just curious my fellow tankers... Honestly if theres no dents, rips, scratches or bending then the packaging is perfect and to me warrants a 100% choiceness, I'm just saying... Guess there is always those that gotta have something ridiculous for the sake of saying they have it... No disrespect if you buy these rated figures... Hell I'd probably buy them too if wifey wouldn't spaz about it! LOL!!!

I like AFA because it's a sealed, protective case that looks great. This one is cool because it's relatively unique in that no other SE has gotten this grade previously.
Personally, I'm more likely to find one in great shape ungraded and just purchase an AFA case for it. Anything over a hundred bucks is generally out of reach for me, with a few specific exceptions. There are a few I'd LOVE to own AFA graded though (TF Duke, TF Flint, etc). I just like the idea that it's been measured and graded against a common standard. They're not perfect, but it's the best we as as community have to provide a common denominator for grading standards.

IMHO, Get an AFA 80 and save thousands...and find one that doesn't have the special offer sticker throwing off the card art.
