I finally got around to doing some capes that I have had planned for months...basically...I can print any color double sided with any pattern or logo desired.

Also many basic colors with no patterns or designs will be available. Got a specific design/color in mind? I'm sure I can accommodate just email me at [email protected] Here's my first 4 inch cape listings on ebay! Action Figures Video Games items - Get great deals on TMNT, Star Wars items on eBay Stores! now...DISCUSS! : )

Price is high/cloaks look stiff/collar rides up very high. 6+3 shipping is a lot for one cloak, especially since figures are in the $7ish area.

Price is high for 1 single cape, I'm always open to negotiation on multiple orders...especially if your willing to cut them out, less time for me = less money for you : ) Material is a little stiff becasue of the non-fray treatment that is put on to keep it together, but there are a few things cool about it. 1) it won't fray unless you purposely try really hard 2) it's bendable/shapeable, you can shape it however you like and it will retain that form...it takes some skill of course, but the end result can be very cool. PS: People are paying $7 shipped for some of my LEGO capes that I sell, so price is good considering this is about the size of 4 of those lol

Agree. Price seems fair. I used to help make repro vinyl capes when I worked at Star Wars & Stuff back in the "no inter-webs" days. They were priced comparably and were cut on a die so they were much easier than what's happening here. Except for Leia Bespin....that cape was a big PITA.
As for ideas, I'd suggest on with a taller back that you could sew up to make a hood for Pythona...or any other random hood & cloak wearing figure. |

Not dissing the work by all means, just giving some input. I understand the time that goes into stuff, believe me. As a novice crafter myself I know that you never get the true value of what goes in most of the time, but money is tight right now for a lot of people, the markets not what it was before. Just giving my 2 cents. Personally, not a huge cape person heh. They do look cool though, but I would say try getting a page on your site up with different styles/bulk pricing/etc.
If you offered a lot of different cuts/styles and had pricing up, people might be willing to order a bunch for troopbuilding. Ever consider other types of clothing too? Robes, tabards, etc? |
