Just a general rant.
I am sick of snipers. I never snipe nor have no life enough to attempt it. I find an item as soon as I can, set my max bid and hope I will get it for less then that max bid. If I get out bid so be it, its my max bid for a reason, ITS THE MOST I will pay for it period. Most of the times the snipers just end up bidding me up and I win anyway no big deal. The ones that really get me though are the ones who wait till under 30 seconds are left and bid over and over again in small amounts. 2 2.50 3 3.50 etc... Just snipe your real max idiots and get it over with. It makes me laugh to look at the bid history of a 6 day item I put a bid on first day, no action till last 30 seconds then 30 bids from 4 snipers and I still get it cause they waited too long to start their sniping. Win or lose I really do not care but I am just sick of seeing all the action in those last seconds. It makes no sense to me... Anyway rant off. Have a nice day.

I dunno... if I want something I'm not gonna drive up the price needlessly
in the beginning. giving shill bidders a chance to piranha at it... etc. a lot of sniping is done by shill bidders in hopes you'll keep up with them. I've seen items 'sell' and then show up a month later if not sooner from the same seller with the same description. that's why I always check the bidding percentage history of an early bidder on an auction.

I like to snipe for some expensive stuff, but I do it with the intention of buying. But I do hate shill bidders though.

I get what you mean.
And I have as of yet never checked who was bidding me up. May have to start checking hehe. Its just wierd to see 50 cent bids every few seconds before it ends. One other note I never watch the ends of my bids. I just wait an hour or two later to see if I need to pay or not. :-)

Know how I know this? Because you posted a declassified flyer which was meant for fun as a NEWS ITEM. No one would ever tell you anything because the VERY FIRST THING you would do is post it here. Probably incorrectly. |

Its not a worry thing so much as an annoyance thing. My point is I hate that they wait till the last minute- 30 seconds. Its like come on man up already and bid like a normal person. But I digress. :-)

Yea I saw that program before. However I see no where in its description that it would make multiple bids over and over again in those final seconds, so I doubt thats what they are using. At least the snipers sniping on my bids.
