yeah for preservation I'm all for AFA as far as their methods for ...well... preserving stuff... but at the same time... there's some nutty AFA stuff out there. Glumby has a collection of AFA stuff that honestly is pretty amazing. I mean it's best-of-the-best type stuff. his collection makes AFA seem like a really decent premise. I mean the only AFA stuff I have (other than the wraith which I bought cuz well ... I was new to it all ... it was before I even joined hisstank I think)... anyways the only AFA stuff I have are a couple foreign figs that I couldn't find loose or carded ANYWHERE else but within their AFA shells on ebay. so I snagged em. had nothing to do with them being AFA... I just really REALLY REALLY loved the card art and couldn't find em anywhere else or anyWAY else.

I first thought the category must be wrong or title is spelled wrong, sure enough it's in 1980-2002.
Only 35 views, probably would've got triple digits $$$ if it was in the correct era category.

Thanks for the mention, I get most of my variants and errors graded because I like the way they look in acrylic and its a great way to preserve them for me. For the convention ones I like to get uncirculated because Im like that.
Got a big glass display case and I am waiting for an AFA delivery before taking pics and showing anyone interested. Working on a couple other things also. Quote:

But inregards to the original post, he will never get anyone to buy those. Just search on the blue and black cobra commanders (AFA) and see how many show up.

I don't care what they're worth or not worth... at the end of the day I love the way they look. Big up the Glumby. dude is top shelf on the roll call. definitely one of my favorite tankers, friends, and collectors.
