Some people will pay that much for loose figures. Hell, I'd pay 15 for a "Rampage"/Heavy Metal if it wasn't cheaper than what most can find the gawdawful Rhino for.
I'd pay 15 for more Resolute Troopers (And have...6 of em...)

OK it wasnt really ALL I was saying to be honest, I think the whole thing is kind of ludicrous, but I agree completely that certain loose figs are worth that much, eye of the beholder

Actually, I've managed to get a number of carded figures for dirt cheap through Brian's Toys simply because the cards were damaged. Hell, I think I was able to snag several Pit Troops for less than four bucks back when they were the "have to have 'em" items.
Besides, when you consider people were paying upwards 30 bucks [near the MSRP for the complete 7-pack] for an incomplete Alley Viper alone when they first appeared on ebay, 12 bucks doesn't seem like a lot. In fact, that's the current going rate on ebay now, isn't it? |

Well, I'm not really sure what's so entertaining about a preorder. Or these in particular, anyway. And, again, the figures from the seven packs are not priced out of reason for any of the going rates on any other site out there. At least individually anyhow. If you want to find it funny, that's your call, but I suggest laughing at the people willing to pay these prices, not the people selling them. Now, I offer a better example of entertainment. This vs. this, which is even cheaper than this, and you get the vintage vehicle to boot.

you might or might not be aware of a 100 plus some page thread here about AOCI/DOCI at ross stores for $16 or $17, so that is a part of the comedy, most of the ebayers selling the loose figs right now got them from Ross MISB there was an explosion of ebay offerings for all of them right after they were first spotted at ross, any ways, it is nothing personal i dont even know brian.... just so you know |
