Ohhhh... My.....God......
2 cobra vamps, 3 bids, $510... Just imagine all the great 25th stuff you could buy for that! other than huge Flagg lots and so on i've never seen anything like this, for me this is by plastic weight/volume the most expensive ebay gi joe listing i've ever seen I'm not knocking what others do with their money, but they sure must be some hard core vintage collectors. 1982 Sears Canada Gi Joe Cobra MSV Vamp Convention Lot - eBay (item 160415633588 end time Mar-30-10 16:38:11 PDT) |

Worth that much ???
It's still got 5 days left...then you see what they're worth You can buy a lot of 25th stuff with that money but 25th stuff was mass produced(to some effect overproduced) very much unlike the rare items in that auction.

Consider this when thinking of the rarity on this. This was only available at Sears stores in Canada in 1982. At that time there were only 72 Sears stores in Canada. Even if you had this today only in 72 stores in a foreign country it'd be rare, now look back 28 years and it's even more ridiculous how rare this is.

That's a beautiful and the first time I've seen it come up at auction. I am not surprised at all.

I'd love it if Hasbro would release the VAMP and MOBAT in black in Modern-style as an homage to those. I always thought they were awesome!
