Ebay really does suck with how much they take away from you. They charge you for listing the auction, take a percentage out for however much it sells for, plus Paypal takes a chunk out as well.
Then you gotta take into account the shipping cost for whatever you're selling and take that out as well, you're lucky to be left with 40% of what your auction originally sold for. My friend just sold some figures on eBay and it ended at just over 200 bucks. Ebay made him pay them about 20 of it. Ridiculous. That's the cost of shipping to where the guy who bought it lives for crying out loud. and you charge the buyer for shipping, so you don't deduct that from the amount your sell it for and claim it is less the selling price. |

not so rare to see around ebay. actually customer support does take all shipping violations seriously. if a seller says it will be shipped for $10 it means it has to cost no less than $9 to ship. i did sold my share of stuff on ebay and i stop doing so because of things like this. i can only advice you to talk with ebay customer support bro @tw. show them how much it cost to ship to you and how much you did paid for. remember that sellers are responsible for their listing and that means shipping cost when its not stated as "Free Shipping" good luck man.

If you listed with "free shipping", your cost to ship is deducted from your profits.

I haven't read this whole thread but I thought that if your package showed the shipping cost and it was significantly different than what you paid then you could open a case?
