This is another price increase, disguised as saving you money. Store insertion fees are going from .03 to .20!

Here is a good tool to use for calculating fees.

sellers get shafted. I sold a TPB. The guy got it. Read it. Wants to return it or keep it for a full refund.
Ebay/paypal says I should refund his purchase. Or pay for his shipping to return it. Was like... is this for real? Really? When I grew up, all I wanted to be was a fire engine. Somehow, I became I library instead.

In no way is this a good thing! Most items I sell range from $30 to $60, they charge significantly more now to sell than ever before. Think about, they charge you almost $5.00 for almost anything you sell, average people sell things for under $50.00, that means in the last 5 years their prices have almost tripled!

That's what I was afraid of...*sigh* Good going ebay another way for you to stick it to us as usual. I vary rarely ever seen a company lower prices everything keeps going up. It's bad enough that Pay Pal sticks it to you as well 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction.

I've noticed all the vintage toys are getting harder & harder to find. No matter what I search for I can't find a damned thing anymore! Probably because a lot of people won't sell on ebay anymore. More & more people are going to stop selling on there.
I have a ton of Transformers to sell but I don't wanna use ebay anymore. I just sent them a $70 payment for 5 items I sold a couple weeks ago. I sold my Diaclone Ultra Magnus for $275.00. I had to send them $70 out of that about an hour ago. Made me sick. But if you use the B/S/T boards, Craigslist or Tfieds they want it for nothing. So what can you do??? |

My plan is to sell what I got left now! before the increase then say goodbye to ebay when it comes to selling. The only way to beat them at there raising price game is to stop using them. My nick name for this is SSS (screwing small sellers)

Another twist of the knife, brought to us by: Fee-Bay
I have an E-Bay store also and the fixed price increase is gonna change my strategy for selling on e-bay. Someof my lower cost items are gonna be either withdrawn from my store or have to be listed at a higher price to absorbe the fee's increase. The customer/buyer is gonna have to get used to paying higher prices for there items, that's it in a nutshell. I don't like it at all, at least the store cost is about the same. Karl |
