Any of you remember my thread where I won 6 items from the same seller & he refused to combine shipping? http://www.hisstank.com/forum/genera...-shipping.html
This is the seller! But anyways, yeah, this guy is pretty bad with shipping prices. So why is his feedback still at 100%? |

Check this out:
GIJOE Space Shuttle Launch Complex - GIJOE Defiant - eBay (item 180449270413 end time Jan-02-10 09:07:25 PST) Is it really worth that much now? Sold @ $1825? No. No. it is not worth that. Not even close. Not even MISB never opened. |

Yet the world around you says differently. Barring craigslist finds and basement discoveries, if you put a complete defiant up on ebay well pictured and well described, it sells for at least $1000 all the time. So why do you bother adding something that is just incredibly wrong when faced with reality? (unless you're a time traveler from the past, and in that case, I retract my statement given you're still acclimatizing to today's marketplace).
But seriously, I think what jumped this baby up so high was the working gantry and nothing broken at all on it. Everytime I see these things go higher and higher in price I keep feeling the need to build a new shelf for my defiant so it isn't on the ground where my kids play with it. Given the replacement cost, it might be best to get it out of children's reach. Maybe the world around you says differently, but I see them all the time for under $500. There is a toy shop by me, that has had one for $450, for the longest time. It really boils down to patience, if you wait it out, you can find one for the right price. If you have to have it right this minute, then you may get stuck paying $1000 or more.
