Has anyone bought on e-bay an item that on the auction page says "Item Location: (location)"...but then when the item arrives, the senders address is in a different state?
reason I ask, I bought a GI Joe 25th comic pack Ripper from a seller who has a 99.9% rating, and when the figure arrived it was missing a piece. I noticed on the mailing package it came from a different state than listed on the auction page, and now I'm afraid to I'm not going to be able to get the missing piece.

Yup, messaging the seller's the first thing to do. 9 times out of 10, that's what gets it sorted.
Certainly freak out when they claim to be local and aren't even in the country. That's happened to me.

Yeah, I messaged the seller right after I noticed it was missing. It was the "Item Location: Here" but shipped from "there" that has me concerned.

Yeah, that's fair enough. I suppose it depends on who it is/how much feedback they've got, because I know some of the bigger sellers of joes like nightvipersjoes and joeinvasion will ship from multiple locations (I think that's them anyhow). But yeah, as long as both locations are in the continental US and the seller is writing you back (and apologetic) then it should be all good.
