I understand selling custom figures (and vehicles) on eBay is a common practice... some folks here seem to use it as a "side job." My question is, is the return worth the effort, especially considering these aren't modern era/25th/30th-style (which seem to be much more desirable and, as such, sell for much higher than vintage)?
I have about twenty vintage/RAH custom figures in different stages of completion, from around ten years ago. As I've been selling off my entire collection over the last year, I'm contemplating whether or not I should complete those custom vintage figures, or just throw them in a junk lot (and advertise as such). I do, however, have about eight custom figures which I wholeheartedly can consider "complete" (I posted them on JoeCustoms around a decade ago, wow it feels like yesterday), and I will be selling off as well. For all intents and purposes, those unfinished custom figures are ready for me to resume customizing, I have the materials, paints, tools and gear. Should I complete those customs I'd started, or just "junk 'em?" |
