Here is the post I was talking about that user MrFusion posted on rebelscum.com on 4/9/09:

ShmashWitdaclub, I've seen the ebay seller you're referring to and for whatever it may be worth, I thought I'd tell you that her auctions remind me WAY too much of a now-gone seller that I (and likely others here) dealt with late last year.
This seller, who's name was "disneyfanjimmy" had a lot of listings up for Star Wars, Transformers, Indiana Jones etc, but they were all preorders and no one, including myself, ever got their merchandise. His emails were always VERY polite and apologetic and he always claimed that the items were coming soon, or even that he'd shipped them. He'd provide a tracking number, but it would be a useless red-herring due to the fact that all he did was print a shipping label. "disneyfanjimmy" also had his location as Ogden, Utah. I don't know. Call me overly suspicious or whatever name you'd think describes my paranoia, but the majority of this person's listings are all preorders. The only stuff she has in hand are Buy it now's for $1 or $2 of things you see clearanced out at Big Lots or Marshalls. I'm just some dude who lurks here occasionally, but if I were you, I'd get my money back asap. Those auctions just don't seem on the up and up. So, on that note, yeah, I do consider myself to be lucky that I got this set from this scammer. Look at her feedback drop! |

This broad even shafted someone on breast cancer awareness stickers. Wow! Now that takes no class.

I bought one of these in the wild in like February from Target just for the Alpine(although I do like the other three figs). Although I kept all the figures in the box with the exception of taking out the dvd and playing it. How much would that decrese the value? Not that I care too much.....I OPEN all my figs eventaully....just curious. Just havent got to opening and displaying this set. The box can still be sealed like new. Anywho...just wondering what its worth opened but complete...?

See, that's HIS fault. After 2 weeks of waiting, I would have already opened a dispute. It's there for a reason, use it.
If he waited because she continued to tell him "next week", "after Fri", again, his fault. That's what scammers do, delay it as long as possible to prevent a dispute to be filed. Disputes can be canceled once and item is received, lose the leverage, lose your money. Quote:
And this is a pic to show off that I indeed meant it when I said I buy all of these TOYS for my son! They are his. I relive my childhood through him and must say I am having a damn fun time doing it. Front two green bins full of Sigma Six. Empty green bin for all the 25th. Red bin on the left filled with Star Wars bad guys. Blue bin filled with Jedi / good guys. Red bid on right filled with clones/stormtroopers. And yes, the Rancor is the new Target exclusive - I got it about a week ago.

I knew from second one that the seller was a scam when it was a "single mom supporting her kids" selling DVD set 5's....gimme a break, almost too obvious.

Actually Qbert, I just even looked today at her feedback this morning, it is probably still on page one or two, but someone else bought one of these sets off her and he got his too. Only difference is, he bought his all the way back on 3/5/09, and I bought mine 3/23/09! Since he just posted his neutral feedback I would assume that he just got it from her.
I would only assume the reason that I got mine from her as soon as I did, relatively speaking, was because I was letting her know about how I was posting about her on online collecting community forums (RS and here). I really do think she was wanting to give me a positive experience dealing with her to hopefully lure others in. In the end - lucky me I guess. And yeah, @ Rulz, my son is 5 (almost 6) - I let him play it up! I love my son and I spoil the shit outta him. I started giving him star wars all the way back when he was 3. He cherishes them, and I have never seen a kid take such good care of his toys. he hasn't lost a blaster. Prolly means he will grow up to be OCD 8p I will cross that bridge when I get there! 8) Last edited by Shmashwitdaclub; 05-04-2009 at 07:43 PM.. |

wow I just went to look at the one that I ended up getting from her to see what her feedback was now and this is what I get:
This listing (260382215241) has been removed or is no longer available. If the listing was removed by eBay, consider it canceled. Note: Listings that have ended more than 90 days ago will no longer appear on eBay. I can't even see my own completed auction with her anymore! Hopefully ebay/paypal is putting the screws to her! |
