I don't collect Vintage, so I'm pretty ignorant with regards to the pricing of these items. However, $2700 seemed like a lot to me. I wanted to see what others might think.

Wow it really sold for much. Im guessing if you part them out they could be worth more? Looks like this seller ran into a ton of old joe stuff fro his other sales. What a profitable find!

Ive been watching these lots just for my own amusement, I cant believe that accessory lot went that high. I saw a lot of accessory pack weapons in there and common 87-88 pieces. But after a second look there are a lot of Night Force accessories in there. I am sure the buyer is praying the bottom of the box is full of NF Tunnel Rat and NF Outback flashlights.
His new V1 Viper lots almost made me shit myself, I was about to break the bank bidding on them but all the weapons are accessory pack. But at $560 per lot right now, I guess someone still wants them. |

It's always baffled me how anyone could drop big money on a lot when they aren't totally sure what all they're getting. To each their own I suppose, but if I was gonna spend $2700 on Joes I'd rather know what it was going towards.

Maybe Epic Steve sold all of his stuff to this guy? This seller has dozens of lots chocked full of army builders and multiples all altered and customized. Sounds like an 'Epic Steve" kind of collection to me. |

A lot of those accessories were black and there were plenty of Night Force Items in there. I was going to bid $2k towards the end when it was at $1400 but it was at the $2700 when I went to bid. There is a lot value in that box. looking at how big the collection was, and the fact that there were plenty of Night Force body parts used in the kitbashes but not many of the accessories seen in the figure lots, there is a good chance that a lot of good stuff was in there. Did you see how big the box was, that was just accessories. There could have been PP weapons as well. I think I saw Copperheads backpack which is a good sign. In the pictures you can see several NF Tunnelrat backpacks and at least the one at the front of the pile has BOTH lights in it. Let's not forget all the chuckles harnesses, dusty bipods, Hawk pistols, and Hit & Run duffelbags(one had the knife in it but I'm sure there were plenty more.

That is pure insanity. Somebody obviously has more money than they know what to do with.

I would say a lot of these auctions will be hard for the buyer to recoup his money on. Seems to be working out to 4 or 5 bucks a figure with the wrong accessories and some paint wear. I can't imagine there being enough night force weapons in that box to justify 2700.
