I have one as well. They were released in test markets only. Ohio had most of them, if not all.

All i ever used the BTR's for were to use the figure's heads as custom green shirts for the new Joes. The Gung Ho and Duke had unique head sculpts not used anywhere else. It was also the only way to get a Blowtorch in vintage colors too.

They are like Lego. I have not built the HISS Tank yet but I have put the one with Heavy Duty. They are kind of cool to have. I wanted to get them because they were different then the normal vehicles and I consider them a part of the GI Joe Collection.

I have one too...I got mine at am overstock store in Pennsylvania...Along with the rest of the built to rule line. They were 5-12 dollars at the store at the time. I like the firefly figure sculpt and the blowtorch colors amd sculpt that come with this line.
The HISS is okay. But i like Wet-Suit's little submarine thing the best, because there were really no water vehicles prevalent at the time. |
