Yeah, I made a post on here warning others to block him as he had done this to about 5 or 6 different sellers all in a row. You can see that if you check out his account. He is a contributer to yojoe too! One seller gave him a "false positive" warning others and I reported him to ebay and he cleaned up his act but then hit one more seller.

1970si is the id to block for those who want to know. I had posted about it here and on a transformers board when it happened so hopefully he has found himself blocked on Joes and Transformers he may have wanted to bid on.

Yea, thanks on the accidental heads-up on this guy. I just added him to my block list as well.

I'll keep an eye out for him as well, thanks. Many people don't realize that shipping is more than just the postage.
Boxes, padded envelopes and packing materials aren't free and the buyer should be prepared to eat some of the cost of those supplies. I usually charge $3 to ship one loose action figure, which usually costs about $1.50 in postage. So, on the surface it would appear that I had double charged for shipping, however, a padded envelope is about $1 and a tiny box, just big enough to hold one action figure, is $2. Then there is packing tape that's about $3 a roll and gas money needed to drive to Wal-Mart and buy these supplies (which is a 20-mile round trip drive for me). I know that Priority Mail boxes and tape are free, but they require you to ship them by Priority Mail, which is a minimum of $4.80. It's rare that a single action figure will weigh more than one pound, so First Class Mail is the cheapest alternative. I try to avoid padded envelopes because they don't work well for bulkier figures or figures with lots of accessories. Also, they don't protect the toy nearly as well as a box would. So, if I ship a figure in the $2 box and it costs me $1.50 in postage, then I've already lost money on the transaction. But the buyer would look at the package and instantly think that he was overcharged for shipping. |

This guy has a lot of experience on ebay and he knew exactly what he was doing, feedback bombing other sellers. One seller got hit several times by him for multiple auctions that he won even though the seller combined shipping for him.
