Thanks for all supportive comments. Here's an update:
So the seller, imxtna, at first denies that she sent the item opened. She said that she sent it sealed. She also questions why I had opened the item and want to send it back to her?? She even said that she had a perfect feedback record. But looking at it recently, someone just gave her a negative for shipping a carded figure that was not mint in an envelope which got damaged. I tell Paypal that the only way the item can get unsealed was for the mail folks to open the package which is like unheard of here. The package had no Priority Mail sticker, which means that it was just sent through regular mail. It takes her over the week to send it and I get the item 3 weeks after I win the auction. So I say even tell her that her shipping method was false. She then agrees to refund minus shipping but I tell her I'm already paying to ship back her item so why should I cover hers. She then says sorry and OK she'll refund me completely assuming nothing crazy happens to the item. She said I got a good deal implying I'm making a mistake. She then says if I return it to her she'd be willing to give me a good deal on some other item. Like why would I want to buy something else from her again? Anyway, I've escalated the dispute to a claim. So once Paypal gives me the OK to ship I'm sending her back the item. Disappointed in not getting the item as described. Also, a hassle. I could have used the money on something else. Last edited by CG76; 08-01-2008 at 06:25 PM.. |

I decided to message that idiot of a seller.
Dear imxtna, I can not believe you sold that someone and actually said it was AFA ready. AFA ready for TRASH. I am blocking you as well as about 3000 others who will be joining me for that crap. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...-disaster.html Now look at that and you tell me with a honest face that you did not lie?? I don't think you can. My response from him/her was: Dear jasonm5472, I am not sure what your problem is what item is it you speak of? I will try to help you out I never intend to take advantage of anyone. Please let me work with you whats up? I gave the link on HISS tank to this idiot and they play all dumb. |

Dear CG76 and All Tank Members,
I would like to take this time to apologize for my actions I had taken regarding CG76's recent Pogo Disaster. Without thinking I decided to contact the Ebay Member that sold CG76's Cobra Pogo and let them know just how I felt about how they treated a fellow tanker. I was very upset at what this individual did to a fellow member and took the actions I did by contacting this individual. I know the error of my way, I am sorry for what I did. I personally Apologize to CG76 and all members of HISS TANK for my actions. If what I did was a bann-able offense I will accept this. Also, if CG76 does not get his money back from the E-Bay member I am prepared to take my own money and pay CG76 for his bad E-Bay experience, price plus shipping. Once again I apologize to CG76 and ALL tank members. Sincerely, Flame Viper |

Appreciate the apology but I hope it's not a bannable offense. As much as the seller was at fault, she still should be treated with respect. I already escalated the dispute to a claim. So Paypal is waiting for the seller to respond. I think she may be dragging her feet on purpose so it may take some time to settle this.
