Yea, maybe he's wrapping them in pure gold and shipping it in a diamond encrusted box.

With the new eBay policies going into effect where the seller gets charged final fees that now INCLUDE the total price (shipping + purchase), he would be stupid to charge that kind of high shipping.
That being said, there is no reason to believe he couldn't get those vintage figures into a small-flat rate box for $5.50. I have seen some tankers mention $10 shipping and that is excessive in my opinion unless the figures are MOC.

dude at most, it would cost him 8-10 bucks and thats if he bubble wrapped each fig, shipped them priority and got you a delivery confirmation. i would be a bit mad too.

This isnt new news though..ebay sellers have pulled this all the time...especially when they sell something that is less than a value they put on the item(s)..
My story of first instance of this: Bought 3 lots of vintage figures and small sets..like the whirlwind, cobra surrveliance, tower, gate set, manta,,, it was a lot of stuff about 4 pounds lf plastic. Well the guy started his auction at .99 and said he starts all his auctions at .99, so what happens..yep I won all 3 of them-2 at .99 and the third for $5. NOT a lot of money and not worth his auction pains, but not my fault right..well then he sends me the paypal bill for $6.98 items and $89 shipping...We are both in the US and this was like 9 years ago.. I told him that he was screwing me and its not my fault that his auctions were set so low that he lost a lot of money on them. he cam back with a counter offer of $30 total...still not what it shouldve been but better and still a great deal for me.. So yeah contact the seller and ask why its som much for shipping.. Also I just shipped 2 poc vamps and 2 furys.,. all MIB from southeast Texas to New York and it cost just over $16.. |

You guys realize that he DOES NOT have to combine shipping.. and if the buyer here agreed to pay the shipping when he bid PER figure.. its the buyers fault.
Lesson learned here - ask before you buy.. you ASSUMED he would mark it down super cheap.. Im sorry but this is a classic issue of the buyer making assumptions for shit and not reading.. Im not agreeing that the price is right.. but I am not going to argue that its the sellers fault.. 1.) learn to read the auction 2.) be a man and complete your transaction - if the shipping on each figure was $5 seperatly.. thats 45$ after shipping.. YOU BID ON IT - AGREEING TO THE INDIVIDUAL TERMS OF EACH AUCTION.. then 17 is a bargin on all of them.. yes or no?!? Yes.. *note im not the seller here.. but this is definitly something that hits a nerve with me* 3.) ask before you bid 4.) reiterate - there are NO POLICIES that say sellers have to combine shipping. Be glad he is offering you a deal and dont back out on a sale because you didnt look into it - you bid, you pay. If you cant afford to pay.. dont bid.. Again - if this was 7 different sellers -- you would be paying 45$ shipping no questions asked.. think before you speak. This is a situation that makes me what to pimp smack the buyer.. dont make assumtions and dont screw this guy on a deal because you didnt get all facts straight.
