USNavy Corsair Pilots in WW2 - Ira Kepford and Roger Hedrick
The link above has a story you may enjoy reading. The fighting group known as 'Jolly Rogers' has been a Navy fighter group since World War Two. Ira Kepford being the number one flying ace over the XO Roger Hedrick... I had made a tribute to this fighter group VF-17 which by the end of the war would have become VF-84. Enjoy the story within and God Bless all of those who serve and have served in our armed forced. I present A Jolly Rogers F4U-1 Corsair Navy.... It's not just a job... it's an adventure! YO JOE!

Updated! Pictures of her sitting in sunlight on a ''runway'' This is the first plane I've done.... in over 15 years... I usually stick to cars.. But I was compelled to build this bird.. I hope you all enjoy it! Comments are now welcome!

Amazing plane Shippy, very well done! A very fitting tribute to the plane I'd say.

Would love to have one of those and a P-38 in 18th scale but they are very expensive.

I got the P-38 in that scale a few years ago. It's huge, bigger than the ARAH Night Raven. Love what you did with the Corsair, Hector. Very nice, fitting tribute.
