hey tankers! inspired by the game trailer for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, i decided to whip up my own custom Noir Spidey out of some Joe fodder, here's my progress so far:
gathering parts: rough assembly: 1st prime and tweaking the face: parts list so far: Head: ROC Sgt Flash with ROC baroness shades used as googles and some thin tarp as the straps Body: crimson Guard (junker i got from my brother) Arms: comic pack Beach head Thighs: ninja intern (i dunno the proper term :P) Snake Eyes from the comic pack boots: comic pack blue commando snake eyes stuff still missing: BIG coat buttons ( i plan to sculpt them on, but don't get yer hopes up) a belt for the dude web-line custom wooden floor base or maybe something more depression-era ish. comments and crits as well as suggestions welcome, thanks for looking! Nice... now I want to make a Steampunk Spider-woman.
This thing is kinda like Spider-man meets the Rocketeer... very cool

VERY cool, eisen! You've captured the look rather well so far. I can't see in the reference pix, does he actually wear combat boots?

Oh wow...
That picture is too cool. I may have to try this one myself! Here's an idea for you and your shakey hands - how about using some kind of masking tape??? Other than the lower section of the pants possibly being a little tricky, the rest of the legs are rather smooth. Come on... do it! |
