So this is a full size mock up of one section the Jo HQ I am building this holiday season. I wanted something more in scale than the 83 version. I am taking my inspiration from the 80's cartoon headquarters. It will be modular for easy storage. Hope you like it, I'll be posting more pics as I get sections finished.
For those of you that have use foamcore before, what's the best method for painting it? I will be covering most edges, so I think I will be able to spray paint it. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated, so without any further ado here are the pics. Front and scale. That's Resolute Duke in the third floor window. Front with Mobats parked inside with full use of their turrets as part of the base defense. Rear of the base As I said above this will be modular and I hope to be able to house all of my vehicles... Thanks for looking, Loc

Awesome. I wish I had room for something like that. I've never liked most bases because they end up being out of scale and not big enough for everything I want. This looks like it'd be great.

Thanks for all the comments, I have to run to Hobby Lobby for more foam board, LOL...
Not sure yet, for screens I was thinking about DVR news, weather and hitting pause on the TV. Taking a still and cutting and mounting the screens. I have gotten a lot from Marauder John over the past few years and will be getting more. I am always looking for things I can use in all the cool dios that have been posted. I also have purchased a ton of odds and ends from Home Depot that plan on surface mounting for plumbing conduit and other things. Thanks, I just drew a grid on the foam core and made a plan. Now that this mock up has been put together, I learned a lot. I made a ton of mistakes and gained a ton of ideas in the process. The painting part of this is what is stressing me out. As far as space, my goal is for each modular piece be just small enough to fit through my attic access.
