I'm considering making customs of Sgt. Savage and the Screaming Eagles. I know there was one episode of the cartoon and they have appeared in some comics, but I'm having trouble finding images of the characters to use as a reference. Does anybody know of a good source for the main characters.
D-Day Dynamite Grill Headbanger Mouse Tank I know D-Day, Sgt. Savage and Dynamite had figures made but none of the others did. Thanks in advance.

There's really not a lot out there, the VHS is the only source besides the cardbacks and 2 minicomics that must have been pack-ins.
All the characters have a page here, screenshots directly from the VHS https://gijoe.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Screaming_Eagles There's a little on YoJoe about some cancelled figures, Grill is the only known new character but was cancelled. There may be a picture out there somewhere. https://www.yojoe.com/sgtsavage/misc.shtml |

Dynamite
![]() Mouse ![]() (left to right) Tank / Grill / Dynamite ![]() Mouse ![]() ![]() ![]() Tank ![]() Grill ![]() Headbanger ![]() DDay ![]() The most distinct is probably Dynamite, so he should be easy. It looks like Headbanger might wear glasses. Tank appears to be blonde and throws knives. Mouse is huge and bald. Grill is a black guy who appears to be the team mechanic. DDay might be the most generic looking of all of them. No distinct features from the cartoon that I can pick up. Last edited by DFender; 03-17-2025 at 04:29 PM.. |

Huge thanks bloth and DFender. Looks like it really is wide open as far as design goes. Dynamite had a figure so that one is pretty easy and D-Day does look generic.
I really appreciate it!
