after the holidays i attempted to picked this back up. my usual filament is hatchbox pla matte black, but hatchbox offered no sales or anythign during the holiday season as i was running out. so i tried sunlu matte black pla.

it did not adhere to the print bed. it clogged two nozzles. ruined one bowden tube (the cadillac of bowden tubes). had multiple tangles in the spool.

so i am returning it. this is super disappointing, because i get sunlu resin and does pretty well for my resin prints. i will be paying for hatchbox full price from now on.


in the mean time, i have been reworking the shield because i dont like how i designed the magnets to hold it into the forearm - a feature im going to have to drill out of my son's gundam's forearm to jam the shield in there and use velcro or something to hold it. honestly, im just remodeling it; i wont be printing one unless he asks for it (and i dont htink he will)
