If you want to reproduce your work and not have to go the 3d route, consider pulling a mold from unique parts like the head.

Just consider what you are building now as the wooden buck.

You could then sell plans and a list of materials for the wings, fuselage and engines.

Yes, his aircraft could be made to fly.

But on a side note, considering that neither have to be mutually exclusive, at what point does a vehicle become more of a playset?
