I have bow A installed with the gun sight, stand by mag compass (left side) and the vent blower (right side). Still have the gun sight control panel, trim ball indicator and the two rear view mirrors to finish the detail on bow A. I think the gun sight will break off with the smallest bump. It is only glued to the bow and not the windscreen.

Slowing putting together the canopy.
I have bow C glued to the bottom of the upper plexiglass. My newest epoxy seems to be bad. It took over 24 hours to set and not 5 minutes. I am not going to return it and will suffer the long set time. The benefit is the longer working time. I hope the bond will be just as strong. You can also see the front door panels taped on. Made a plastic tab that sticks up. The back of the plexiglass fits under a lip and is held in by compression. The front part fits in the grove on top of Bow A The canopy is now removable, yet remains secure, and the front panels can swing open.

WOW! I started building a 1:18 tank in foam as well and just kind of gave up with all the little pieces that have to be designed, cut and measured... and yet here you go and do all of these, seats and everything! I'm impressed, keep up the good work!

Thanks Zorman!
True to prediction the first time I removed the front pilot and ejection seat, bumped the gun sight and it fell off. That was fine since the viewing angle was incorrect after the first installation. That minor problem has been fixed. The upper Electronics Compartment is installed with two magnets. That will make packing the aircraft easier. Just a view of the ALQ-144. You can see the color printer was off on the blue for the decals.

Rough fitted the aft canopy frame bow. Aft canopy frame bow fitted with the lower door frame. The bow glued the the lover frame of the back window. Fitting the exterior door frame to the clear plastic panels. For the how of the canopy I will just show the left side unless I discover a problem with the right. Thanks for watching.

Thank you. It is a pain having to deal with super glue fumes hazing the panels.
Part LA2 and the back window plexiglass. Also the interior detail of the right pilot's door. All the removable canopy sub-assemblies to date. Installed the back window. Now I know the size and shape for the observer/copilot doors. Probably need to finish the upper canopy exterior frame. Then mount the front doors and back windows before gluing the interior lip and exterior frame to the last two plexiglass panels. Edit: My login timed out. I lost the first attempt to post. I hope that I didn't miss any key points in rewriting this. I already had to fix some omissions. I hope that everyone has a great Veteran's Day Weekend.
