Flight controls and instrument panels are done.



Started the frame for the tail gunner's position.



Working on the pontoon struts and checking weapons clearance.







The engines and tail section are now supported by the aircraft structure itself.

Only the fuselage is held above the floats by a cardboard jig.

Thanks for the encouragement. Kind of worried none of the past images appear.

Here in the Mark 41 Torpedo, 2.75 inch rocket pod,Harpoon missile and the machine guns.

For Ako's question about the canopy, least for the aft bird cage, I cut mirror images of each side out of 1.0 sheet styrene.



Then cut and fitted the diagonal cross-members on the top and bottom.



Reinforced the inside of the cage similar pattern to the actual aircraft.



and made the paper templates for the clear plastic panels.

Installed the foot rests and then glued in the clear plastic windows for the bird cage.

Other than that progress has been slow.
