There are two projects I want to do: Airwolf (from the TV series) and the Howler (from GI Joe The Rise of Cobra).
Since I don't have the vehicle customizing skills to do either one correctly, I'm slaughtering them together as a fusion project, the Wolfhowl. This is the beginning of my 40th anniversary Airwolf tribute set. So far it's a Paw Patrol VTOL aircraft, with its silhouette modified by adding kibble to the turbines. Lots of kibble added to the interior, after removing parts of the actual inner frame part. It will have the Airwolf color scheme, which will probably including obscuring the canopy as a nod to the Howler. There will be weapons system added to the exterior, just not there yet. Here's my question for now: Go with the radar dome, or without? Last edited by Clockwise; 01-26-2024 at 03:15 AM.. Reason: spelling |

Thanks for the votes! Looks like the dome stays!
I'll check back in before I get to the paint just to see if anything's changed, but I'm good with the dome. I do appreciate it, guys. Any other thoughts would be welcomed, too. |

Looks good so far. I voted for the dome as well. It took me a minute to figure out what used to be there. What is the seats and dash from? Really looking forward to seeing what you do with this since I have a pile of different Paw Patrol vehicles I'm hoping to do something with eventually.

The seats are from a Defiant gantry crawler (also used a lot of it in the back). The control panels in the flight deck are from something (GI Joe) that had a seat kind of in a cup, but I'm not sure what it was. I thought it could have been from a POGO, but it wasn't.
People have done some amazing stuff with the Paw Patrol vehicles, especially the armored mega-van thing. |

I appreciate the input.
The fuselage really needs to be cut and extended by about 8 (scale) feet, but that's way out of my ability range. That would really enhance the overall appearance. |
