Still pretty boiler plate.

Making the figure clip out of four different pieces of sheet styrene wasn't a good idea.

The weight of the figure pulled the joint apart at the nose during the first crash.



I have a feeling I am going to have to cheat and have the rubber band pass thru the wing to the top two pieces of plastic.

I broke the clip a couple more times before I added a strip of 2mm plastic to the inside.





The clip isn't square anymore but it holds up.



It took more flights than the photos show to get a decent image. Without a figure the glider pitches up and stalls so the wing is generating lift.



Also, this is without the flaps/ailerons cut.



Falcon's legs kept flopping down so I added an additional rubber band to keep him in position.





Falcon does fly....



He just doesn't land very well.

After a dozen flights and numerous yard sales the glider can still be put back together and the clip is still holding its own.

Great templates for the camo pattern and the profile of the glider.

Hand painting the camo was not fun.
The acrylic paint required multiple coats and I am worried weight if weight is even more of a problem.



Now I need to make the decals....

But painting this did remind be of the Vulcan Bomber from "Thunderball".
