This is a first pass mock-up of a snap on kit for the Wolverine. It uses the chassis to give the Joes a recovery/engineering vehicle. I’d been talking to Mauler Joe about a crane he was working on and a die cast recovery tank I had as a kid (see pics). This’ll allow the Joes to do serious work in the field and should go well with the bridge layer. Next will be detailing and improving the fit. #gijoeTowing

This is really cool. I had a similar idea using the bridge layer chassis, but I don’t have the 3D skills to pull it off.

I'm curious, would a real life version of this configuration use a counterweight?
Just asking. It is a nice looking kit. Are you looking to sell kits in the future? |

I think I will make some kits. A couple of people have asked me. Once I get them detailed up and working well it might be viable. For this test I was able to fit all the parts on a single build plate. As long as I can do a kit in one pass that should work. I'm curious how finished you'd expect a kit like this to be. I don't think it'd be worth my time to sand and paint and really finish them. Would you be fine with getting the grey print, with supports removed but no real finishing?

WOW! That is so amazing! Looking at how you have flawlessly combined it with an existing Wolverine as just snap in pieces, I'm really shocked no one from Hasbro ever thought about something like this. Great work.

Really cool man. I think unfinished kits would be perfect since it's a custom add on. Did you ever make the blade upgrade kits for the Skystorm? My kid has still been watching your Youtube videos and asks about it.
