Believe it or not all I have to work with is an old table saw and some cheap power tools. In my cold garage in the cold winter in MN. I have made many mistakes but have had lots of fun. I was just going to have a square box under it like some others I saw and then I thought what if I angle this here....then I couldn't stop. Nice peaceful part of my day each day. Good luck! .. I couldn't afford one when i was a kid and still can't as an adult. Probably have only about 350 wrapped up in it. I hope you make time to build one.

We'll, it looks like I can't upload anymore pictures to this thread so I'll just let you know where I'm at so far and perhaps a timeline to completion. I have made a new front end to the Flagg. This has a working anchor room. You can raise and lower two anchors that I got from the original Flagg. Real cool. However I am not happy with the tow vehicle I made so I'm redesigning it and trying again. Finished the trim work today along with some interior sanding.
I will start another thread soon. I think then I can add more pictures not sure. Hate to delete any. I want to get a little further along before I do. Sanding doesn't make very interesting pictures. I plan on making a hatch on the back, hand rails, custom doors, all before I paint, but it's all turning out very nice. I have to get some more wood too but Im not going to get it from where you guys shop. Holy cow. Wood must be cheaper in MN or you guys shop at the Home Depot of the rich and famous lol. Maybe a weekly update otherwise I spend too much time typing and not enough time working. Yo Joe, G.I. Dad |

I can't remember for sure since it's been a good while since I've posted any pictures, but I don't think starting a new thread will enable you to post more pictures without deleting others on here. You'll need to seek out a free photo hosting service and embed the links into you posts. The pics will then show up much bigger on here and you won't be restricted in how many you can post. Some other folks on here may be able to better help you more with this. I'd suggest one, but I can't even remember the one I used last, lol! I know Photobucket went to crap, so don't waste your time with that one.

I've added doors to the rear of the aircraft carrier and I decided to just make a video for you this time.

I tried Flickr but I will have to load the pictures one at a time. I have close to 300. I will keep looking.
