I've been getting into the habit of asking people who buy from my Etsy store and other customizers who know my work what else they want in 1:18 accessories and have gotten some great suggestions recently.
This whole 3d printing thing for me started as a way to better make my ideas for my own setups come to life with greater detail and less cost. With that in mind, I am so happy to finally get back into that and now, not just make these for myself. My hope is to come up with pieces others haven't as to be honest, I'm not looking to compete with anyone, just want to help move the hobby forward after the troubles I've encountered filling in the details of my personal displays. As I add more pieces, I'll update the main pic, but will add specific new pics as separate posts. Looking forward to seeing what else folks would like for their dio needs.

First up, something I've wanted for a very very very long time, access panels. The real kick in the butt was from suggestions from a couple of great customizers who have become familiar with my stuff.
Starting with these two, but will definitely try at least a couple more. The one with numbers was more a test to see how small my printer could go. Think they need to be just a tiny bit bigger, though we'll see after I get my lighted magnifier. Only small regret of having lasik, lost the ability to paint tiny detail by eye alone, hence the sloppy paint, though these are less than 20mm tall each to be fair. Comments, damnations and especially suggestions definitely welcome on these!!

Thank you! To be honest, the paint job in the first pics bug me, but after some tweaks and finally paying more than $1 for a brush, they're coming out better. Still a bit of a pain, but they do come out nice.
Thanks!! I'm shooting for end of next month to release these along with my next restock. More than halfway sold out of everything, so looking like earlier than the one I planned for April. After playing around with painting these over the last couple of weeks, I likely won't have many pre-painted available due to how long it takes, but with such an item, I am hoping more people will want to paint them to their own schemes anyway. Thanks man, I appreciate your support!!! I'll definitely be hooking you up when they're ready.

Getting closer and closer with these. I'd say about 90-95% done design-wise. Now to just practice my small painting skills, which, since getting lasik, sucks. My new lighted magnifier and small brushes are helping though.
So, for now, I think I'll offer the 5 main panels as a set and maybe also individually. I'll also offer ones without magnets as I have a bunch where the spot for the magnet isn't deep enough to be flush. Also for now, since it takes me forever to paint these to the point my ocd allows me to call them done, will offer a very limited number of sets that are painted. Plus, for these, I feel many, if not most, would prefer to paint them according to their individual plans. Any suggestions are definitely welcome. Thank you!!

I have a number of things in the works, but couldn't wait to try this one out. Small tweaks and work on the various mounts needed, but not bad for the 1st print of this design:

Trying to get back into more regular posting now that I'm just over 1 month in since going full time with this stuff.
I've been dreaming of a cage for my propane tanks for my dio, but hadn't had the time to test print all the parts. Pretty damn happy with the 1st prototype. Already made adjustments and ready to try #2 tomorrow. Also was able to get the 1st test prints of my jerry can and ammo box that I've also been wanting for some time. Just a few tweaks to make to those and I can start printing a dozen or so of each at a time. Lastly for today, some racks for barrels and gas cylinders. Also something I've been wanting to make for some time. Any suggestions as far as construction/color schemes of any of these new items? Thanks for looking!!

Last time I said I'd try posting more often. That was 2.5 months ago, but in comparison, I guess that is progress.
Anyway, got my old copy of photoshop running and after switching out my cheap TV for an actual computer monitor can even use the program. With that in mind, finally took my first real try at waterslide decals. Some trial and error and pretty happy with the results. Still working on the propane tank decal, but threw together the design so I don't have to worry about any copyright stuff from using an actual one. Also, my way of taking a break is to still make stuff, so I made a couple of hand dryers and decals for those.
