Vehicles Widening C-130 Hero Force

I had time to make a bit more progress.
-Detail up the cockpit with greebles. It was so empty and boring.
-Add seats and details to the troop area where the electronics used to be behind the cockpit.
-Close off hole in the roof made by removing the electronics.
-Seal off gaps in the floor and ramps.
-Smooth out rough edges where possible.

I think I'm mostly done with the customizing. I might have to wait until it warms up to hit the entire plane with some primer and fill some gaps and then do some sanding outside. It's so big. I can't wait to load this thing up for a mission. Thanks for all the feedback so far.

Thanks! I had some time to get some tamiya putty on some of the bigger gaps. Today I did some rough sanding and hit it with a little primer. I need to take another pass on it but I’m happy with how it’s looking. The styrene and other mods don’t look too out of place.

Nice enough weather to get a coat of paint on the plane. I’m getting excited about finishing this one. I also did some sanding and hit some spots with Tamiya putty. I want to get a nice finish so it continues to look like a toy. I’m thinking of doing a lighter color for the interior, maybe a bluish or grey. Also going to make some gi joe stickers for the wings and side. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Arbco! I finished up most the paint and got stickers on it. I love having a way to transport a proper team to anywhere Cobra might strike. I modified it to fit my Mini Mauler, extra gear, and a squad of Joes. Enough firepower to hold out until the heavy armor arrives. Yo Joe!

Thanks Zap! That means a lot coming from a skilled fabricator like yourself. I’m planning to do a few more touch up paint apps and put together a “how to” vid. Then call it done. Thanks again everyone for the positive feedback.

I'm loving this. The Tomahawk was great, but we all know the Joes were missing a heavier airlift asset.
