Vehicles GI Joe, Adventure Team, Search for the Stolen Idol Chopper 1:12 scale.

Hi All,

Here are some WIP pics of the AT chopper from Search for the Stolen Idol.

I used foam board to make the cockpit and then covered it with plastic card and the landing struts are made using sprue from model kits and plastic rod.

The rotors are made using plastic card and parts from 1/35 tanks and the jets were done using Lego. The tail frame and tail wings were also made using plastic and the engine and winch were made using plastic card and 1/35 tank parts and the instrument panel and joytsick is made from plastic card and a handle from a Bandai Stormtrooper rifle.

The windscreen is was cut from a action figure case and can be removed to get access to add or remove the figure.

Really nice work. That really captures the feel of that Joe copter. I still have the 45 record read along book for the Lost Idol story. Brings back some good memories.
