You may recall a member of my family, Dr. Adele Burkhart. In June of 1982 Dr. Burkhart caused concern in our family when she was kidnapped by a terrorist organization.
I work to expand upon Aunt Adele's legacy and today I work as a Chief Scientist and CEO of Blackacre Heavy Industries, consulting with the egg heads over at Aberdeen in the development of future munitions and near autonomous weapon platforms. Over the course of the last decade our teams, in coordination with the good folks at DARPA, have adapted a number of gyroscopic technologies, high energy light emitting diodes, machine learning algorithms, and precision cutting systems to produce something phenomenal. Blackacre Heavy Industries is proud to introduce its newest creation, "Command Line". A multi-ton creation and spiritual successor to the successful HAVOC platform, Command Line provides greater kinetic and optical focused weapon delivery options over the legacy HAVOC system. Its light emitters are 74 percent more efficient in their ability to disrupt hardened and soft targets from a distance. Missile kinetic munition range is extended by 2 additional miles and rail gun projectiles allow for up to 24 targets at once and a mission load out of 82 percent more rounds available to be fired. Its real force multipliers come from the ability counteract severe gravitational forces and allow projectiles to be guided in mid flight; allowing the ability to disrupt targets in a near perfect line of sight or rain steel on hidden targets from the heavens. In close combat situations it brings down its quantum entanglement chain to literally rip a hole in reality; giving it the ability to sunder the toughest and hardest tank armor on the planet. Land trials began this past summer at Ft. Irwin in some of the hottest conditions on the planet. Mud trials are currently in progress in an undisclosed location in Florida and Winter trials will commence in the following months starting near the small village of Valdez Alaska and making its way along the oil terminal line towards Prudhoe Bay. When asked about the progress of testing, Cross Country replied, "Well, let's just put it this way. It's got a lot more pucker factor than the Havoc. The way this thing moves can scramble yer bacon and eggs real quick. Why do you think I look like this?" Needless to say, Cross Country is off to the gym. Wish Cross Country good luck, and happy hunting as we improve the fighting capabilities of G.I. Joe! |
