As for that WIP 1:18 raptor pen, I have a family member who now has a 400mm/400mm/400mm FDM printer, which translates to just under 15.75" in each dimension. If I can charm my way into occupying that machine for a few weeks then the creation of a physical version of that pen becomes much more likely. I could possibly do it in about 7-9 pieces on that machine (in terms of the main structure - the railings, wire brackets, and the tower roof would be separate issues). My current printer is closer to 8.5" in each dimension, which would potentially quadruple the part count for the main structure. I am much less likely to tackle it that way.
